Mindfulness training is a systematic way of cultivating mindful awareness. Mindfulness training enables the practitioner to appreciate their immediate sensations, thus bringing emotional stability and a general sense of well-being. As the training also involves learning how to become more objective about our thought processes, it can help with the individual’s understanding, practical communication and relationships with others.
The Course combines evidence based mindfulness programmes MBSR/MBCT. These programmes are 8 weeks in length.
A silent day of mindfulness practice, with guided teaching throughout. Retreats offer the time and space to be with ourselves. In the busyness of everyday life, we rarely have opportunities to step back and reflect.
Silent retreats offer a space to see what it is like to experience the familiar practices back to back led by the instructor. The day retreat also allows us to explore a degree of solitude, while having the support of the group.
We will usually run a silent day retreat as part of our 8 week courses. If you are new to mindfulness we recommend contacting us before booking a retreat.

We encourage each participant to attend all the sessions. However, if you do miss a session, we appreciate that you let us know beforehand, or at your earliest convenience.
We offer a 30min phone/email or in-person session that you’ll need to arrange with your teacher at a day/time that is suitable for you both. The teacher will be happy to support you, however the onus is entirely upon you to make this happen.

Short courses. These offer a great stand alone introduction for both beginners and intermediate practitioners. Ideal for people with limited time commitment or those needing a motivation boost. Open to all, but ideal for beginners. They can also be seen as stepping stone to further mindfulness training.
Long courses. The most popular of these being our 8 foundation courses. Which combines MBSR/MBCT evidence based mindfulness programmes. Like our shorter courses they are open to all, but ideal for beginners and experienced practioners. We recommend these courses if you want to make mindfulness part of your daily routine.
We also offer, follow-on, online, face to face, one to one courses as well as bespoke corporate training.
